Kudurru Documentation Site — License Notice

October 12, 2026

This notice covers project-controlled files in site/, the documentation source and build system for https://docs.kudurru.io. It does not cover the public marketing website under www/ (https://kudurru.io).

Publicly available documentation

Anyone may read the published documentation, link to it, use it to learn, administer, integrate with, or evaluate Kudurru, and quote it as independently allowed by applicable law. No purchase, login, or commercial license is required simply to consult the public documentation or to follow documented procedures.

Community use and contributions

For source files under site/ that Licensor has authority to license and that do not bear their own license, Licensor makes those files available under the Kudurru Community License as Covered Software for its permitted personal, homelab, qualifying nonprofit, and community-development uses. This grant includes building local documentation previews, fixing documentation errors, and proposing changes through public contribution channels, subject to the applicable attribution and distribution requirements.

This is a source-available community grant, not permission for any company or government agency to republish the entire docs website commercially. A company or government agency may build isolated, nonproduction previews to contribute documentation under the community-development permission, but may not run a commercial mirror based on that permission alone.

A contribution of documentation may require a project Contributor License Agreement before acceptance. A pull request alone does not transfer copyright to Kudurru.

Commercial internal documentation mirrors

A Customer holding an accepted Kudurru Commercial Software License Agreement and applicable Order Form may copy, adapt, build, and privately host the site/ documentation for its Authorized Users as permitted by Section 3.3 of that Agreement. That permission does not authorize creating a public branded clone of docs.kudurru.io, reselling the documentation, or sublicensing it without separate written consent.

Exclusions

Project marks, logos, proprietary graphics, and separately licensed third-party fonts, components, datasets, and content are governed by their own notices or reserved-rights rules. Existing legally permitted fair use and statutory exceptions are not restricted. Nothing here revokes rights to historically licensed versions.
